An experienced HR/ER/IR manager and consultant, Tony’s involvement in strategic and business planning, as well as extensive management of change (workplace reform, cultural change and organisation re-engineering) allow him to partner closely with his clients for best possible business outcomes.
Tony’s expertise sees him supporting his onshore and offshore construction clients, by providing Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management services that assist in the assessment of employee and industrial relations risks in their business environment and in the development and implementation of mitigating actions to effectively manage those risks.
During his past eighteen years in Consulting, Tony has undertaken numerous assignments in both the private and public sectors. These projects have included Strategic HR and ER/IR advice to senior management along with the subsequent establishment of formal plans; employee relations risk management; industrial relations negotiations and problem solving; remuneration consulting; organisation restructure & outplacement counselling; executive search and recruitment; and involvement in the development and review/audit of HR policy and procedures.
A highlight of Tony’s consulting experience was an extended assignment in East Africa, involving a major review and restructure of expatriate and national remuneration, contractual arrangements, the successful implementation of improvement/change plans resulting from the review, and the selection, coaching and mentoring of a local HR management team who took over full management of the HR function.
