Announcement: Two new Mapien promotions!

It is with great pleasure that we announce two recent Mapien promotions. Conor Fahey has been promoted to Principal Consultant and Sophie Williams will move to a Consultant role.

Incredibly hard working and a well liked team member, Conor Fahey has brought an interesting mix of HR and law capability to Mapien. With a pragmatic, personable, calm and commercial approach, Conor has a loyal list of clients who call on him for support across many areas – from complex industrial relations and employee relations strategies and labour costings, through to workforce planning and cultural reviews, and even complicated workplace investigations.

While Conor works across many industries, he has driven the growth of Mapien’s Local Government consulting practice in WA and we are now a major player in this sector in the west.

Conor loves to travel and spends a lot of time visiting client sites across WA. This travel also helps him with his biggest passion – surfing WA’s beautiful coastline!

Sophie Williams has been promoted to the role of Consultant after proving herself to be a highly capable, hard working and talented member of our team.

Sophie’s previous roles in law firms and in the hospitality sector have equipped her with a unique combination of legal training and practical management experience. Being results-oriented, Sophie provides accurate timely advice and pragmatic solutions to clients and as part of project teams across a broad range of industrial relations challenges. A naturally warm and friendly person, she is building strong client relationships particularly in the education, childcare and social/community service areas.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Sophie has recently learned French and regularly volunteers for a number of community organisations. To top it off, she is now pursuing a Masters in Strategic Human Resource Management & Employment Relations, and whilst we’re not quite sure how she fits it all in, we are impressed by her drive and commitment!

We know people make the biggest impact in an organisation and are honoured to have Conor and Sophie on Team Mapien.  Congratulations to you both!
