John takes the time to listen and understand the key issues facing his clients to deliver tailored and practical business solutions.

Drawing on his extensive experience in employee relations, industrial relations, and human resources, John partners with businesses to build clarity and confidence, find successful resolutions and outcomes, and improve management capability and engagement.

He provides advice on enterprise bargaining, dispute resolution and conflict management, mergers/acquisitions, leading change management and workplace transformation, divestments, and outsourcing. John leads enterprise bargaining in agenda setting, process design, internal management and employee communications and negotiations. His experience in major change and transformation projects is in leading strategy, risk management and implementation.

John takes a strong partnering and coaching role with line, operational and HR management, and combines his experience with well-developed stakeholder management, influencing, communication and project management skills. He has conducted negotiation and consultation with unions and representation in the Fair Work Commission, requiring a strong understanding and use of conflict management and dispute resolution skills, and the application of dispute resolution and dispute system design processes.

John also applies a very strong understanding of human resource policies, procedures and processes and has been a key advisor to central HR and HR project teams.
